Jewellery trends on Milan fashion week ss25 are BIG
Autumn is approaching and besides chillier winds and thinner light, autumn also brings back the Milan fashion week. This years second fashion week ended like a week ago and luckily for those of us who didn´t have an invite (and/or the possibility to pay 4500 GBP per fashion show) many of the walks were captured online.
Jewellery on Milan fashion week ss25
The overall trend this season seemed to be oversized statement necklaces, like these extremely chunky chains within Cavallis sea-inspired collection, Guccis chunky choker necklaces and Etros layered necklaces.
This Cavalli model is wearing a very big chain necklace with an oversized swordfish.
Etro was serving layered necklaces and maximalist earrings.
The other jewellery type that seems to be trending is pearls and Moschino had a quite surprising take on the classical pearls with their pearl necklace-earrings thingy (picture 1). Not sure about that one tbh haha
Alessandro Michele for Valentino
One of the biggest news this season was the debute of Alessandro Michele's first show for Valentino. The collection was both whimsical and beautiful imo. Besides a lot of nose and mouth jewellery, Valentino also served oversized statement necklaces and statement earrings.
D&G serving 90-s glam
The jewellery on Dolce & Gabbanas runway flirted with 90-s fashion and featured big crucifixes, the 50-s pointy bras and other very Madonna-like esthetics. Madonna her self wore an amazing statement necklace with her black lace dress.
